Glasgow Caledonian University is developing a digital alternative to real world learning through website Second Life.


Ferdinand Francino, project manager, said the move will also make education more accessible. He added: 'Students won't have to travel, they'll have access to tutors and they will have all the materials they need.'


The first phase of the project will deliver the university's forthcoming masters course in International Film Business.
